Inspirations

Warning! There is nudity in some of these pictures!

During my first semester at the Academy of Art almost every midterm and final project for my photography classes consisted of emulating the work of another major photographer, whether they were dead or alive. It was definitely a good thing for me because the only names I knew in the photography world were Nigel Barker and Andy Warhol... and I came to learn that most of Andy's work were paintings. So, I'll show you my work by date of the when it came out.

Camera Obscura

You can see the view of outside my window being projected on my dorm room wall

This is my favorite one because of the bus. It took me about an hour and a half to actually make this happen. I had to cover my huge window with plastic bags so it didnt make any light what so ever. But when I was finished it was so worth it. After I took all these pictures I just lied on the floor and watched people walk on my ceiling. It was sick

When making the camera obscura, I wasnt influenced by a particular person but by the history of the camera. I wanted to show what it was like inside of a camera (like ive been there before haha) but the really cool thing about this is that the image being projected actually flips.
